Took a spontaneous kayaking trip to Raystown Lake, PA this past weekend with a few friends. We couldn't have asked for better weather to close out the summer kayaking season.
Short version: two hour drive, 6.5 miles of kayaking, lunch on a island, jumping off 35 foot cliffs, ripped my Vibram FiveFingers, then a BBQ Festival on the beach.

Raytowns Lake was recently uncovered by the investigators from the TV show Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files. This prop form the show had been given to the locals who idolize this (fake) monster which now is the "fish feeding station" sign stand.
