New Recipes for a Healthy Diet

I try to stick to my 3,200 cal diet when I'm at home (bc it's hard to do when traveling). This means I eat every two hours, while i eat many times throughout the day the portions are relatively small and everything is the healthy alternative. I have a few new favorites:

1. A lightly toasted wheat bagel with a half an avacado (sliced), cold roasted red peppers (sliced) and spinach. Sometimes I'll put some balsamic vinaigrette on it if life gets a little boring.

2. That's followed awhile later by "chicken fired rice" where i replace the rice with bulgar wheat and the chicken with tofu. It takes about 5 minutes to make and tastes just like chicken fried rice.

3. My mum gave me this recipe for the healthy alternative of chili (i love chili). It's made with vegetables, bulgar and some other stuff. It tastes and feels (that sounds weird) just like chili but it has no red meat in it. Now you're asking yourself, "he doesn't eat red meat?" This is false, I eat red meat but I limit it to once a week at the most.

4. Roasted vegetables and bulgar wheat is another simple lunch. Bake onions, green & red peppers and mushrooms with a squirt of lemon until they're soft. Then throw them in with some warm bulgar wheat and some cold cucumbers. This is one of my favorite favorites.

I'll post the actual recipes soon.
